- Wednesday New Comic Book Day (Except on weeks following holidays)
Metropolis Comics and Toys can receive product any day of the week but every Wednesday there is a shipment of comics and toys, so this is a good day to come in and guarantee you have the best shot at finding what you’re looking for!
- D&D Encounters
In addition to the new comics, every Wednesday starting June 09th at 6pm we’ll be hosting D&D Encounters. We will provide everything. Players need only bring themselves.
- Friday Night Magic
FNM starts at 6pm and costs only 2 dollars! We usually get a good turn out, so try to get there early!
- Sunday Yu-Gi-Oh!
Yu Gi Oh has really become an event for us every Sunday! Make sure to get there early to guarantee a place to sit! The tournament starts at 1pm.
- Screening Nights
We’ve recently started running certain cartoons and anime at the store after hours. The Eighties Cartoon Festival and the Caramell Anime Night both happen once a month. There are prizes, trivia, snacks and it only costs one dollar to attend. So keep an eye on the new events listings on the front page to stay updated.
This year Metropolis Comics and Toys was a proud sponsor of Vancouver’s largest convention, the Anime Evolution! Not only were we there as a vendor and company sponsor but we also hosted the Yu Gi Oh competitions and Gundam contests!
We met many very cool people and had a great time! Hopefully we’ll have an even better time next year! See you all there!
